PNCC
The PNCC facility is a 30,000 square foot three story office building on Route 18 in Potter Township, Beaver County with a 100,000 square foot combination warehouse and distribution center. The building exterior provides a notable presence on Route 18. All metal halide exterior luminaires on the site are equipped with two level switching which saves energy and extends lamp life.
As you enter the main lobby of the building the sconces, downlights and wall washers guide the visitor to the reception desk in a pleasant and welcoming environment. From here the visitor can gain access to the open office areas or the conference room.
The conference and board rooms have indirect luminaires and cove lighting respectively with sophisticated lighting control system that integrates all of the room functions – audio, video, projection, sound, etc. The touch panel provides ease of operation for the owner.
The central corridor of the facility is two story, two level and uniquely controlled. Taking advantage of the large skylight and encased structural beams, the first level is controlled with a daylight sensor to limit power consumption with lighting recessed into the structural beam enclosures. The second level relies on the same daylighting control providing gentle path lighting.
The warehouse/distribution center is illuminated with T5HO high bay luminaires with aisles controlled by occupancy sensors.
The Electric League of Western Pennsylvania (ELWP) presented the project with the Best Industrial Lighting Project award.
